I finished reading Deborah Ball's biography "House of Versace" and fell in love with the crazy Donatella and Gianni; crazy uprise of an empire, but I could relate to Donatella's jaw-dropping shopping impulse most of all. So I was looking through Versace ad campaigns over various years and thought these SS 99 ads were very theatrical. They are sort of like Hitchcock movies through Picasso or Matisse's eyes?
